Sanderson Airport is located on the North edge
of the town of Shelton. Shelton is located on an inner arm
of the Olympic Pennisula.
The scenic route to the area is cradled by
the lush forests & pristine mountain areas of the Olympic
National Park and the waterway route along the Hood Canal and
inner passages of Puget Sound.
The Airport is a short drive from the center
of town where there is a variety of lodging and restaurants. There is also camping available on the South end of the airport.

Driving:
From Seattle/Tacoma
Take I-5 South to Olympia
Take Exit 104 to Highway 101 North
Approximately 6 miles take the exit - "Port Angeles-Shelton" to
continue on Hwy 101
Follow Highway 101 North approximately 16 miles to Shelton
1/2 miles past mile marker 345, take a left at the "Sanderson
Airport"
From Bremerton/Gig Harbor
Take Highway 3 into Shelton
Bayshore Golf Course will be on the left
Take the next right onto Johns Prairie Rd
Stay on Johns Prairie Rd. into Shelton to the Wallace-Kneeland
exit
Get on Highway 101 North
1/2 miles past mile marker 345, take a left at the "Mason
County Fairgrounds"
From Portland
I-5 North to Olympia
Take Exit 104 to Highway 101 North
Approximately 6 miles take the exit - "Port Angeles-Shelton" to
continue on Hwy 101
Follow Highway 101 North approximately 16 miles to Shelton
1/2 miles past mile marker 345, take a left at the "Sanderson
Airport"
